Marriage between a Cambodian citizen and a foreigner
It is more difficult than a marriage between two Cambodian, but it is not impossible. What you need to understand are the basic requirements and the relevant stakeholders which include the embassy of the foreign citizen, the Ministry of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Interior and the local commune authority. At our law firm, we guide you through every stage and facilitate the correspondence with the authorities and where possible, do your job for you.

Another option to recognize your marriage in Cambodia is that you can register your original marriage certificate in your spouse’s home country with the local commune authority. This process is quicker, easier and cheaper.
Divorce

Steps:
- 1st : We offer 15 minutes of free legal advice.
- 2nd: You choose your plan (divorce service or legal advice).
- 3rd: You submit your own divorce, or you get a legal assistant.
There are two types of divorces – mutual agreement or filing a lawsuit to the court. Mutual agreement is simpler and quicker but both parties must remember to obtain necessary legal advice and mediation service (if needed) to minimize future implications. Filling a lawsuit is generally more complicated and lengthier. We recommend each party seek legal advice from a legitimate source before standing in the courtroom.
Inheritance
